The HTS leader, known for his radical rhetoric, has escalated his incitement by directly urging fighters to wipe out Alawites. His speech, filled with sectarian venom, frames the entire Alawite population as an enemy to be exterminated, dismissing any possibility of coexistence. This call to mass murder underscores the terror group’s commitment to ethnic and religious cleansing, echoing past massacres committed by HTS fighters.


Global Response: Urgent Action Needed

Despite HTS’s history of atrocities, the group continues to operate in Idlib. The international community must act now:

  1. Condemn & Sanction HTS Leadership – Pressure must be applied to weaken HTS’s command structure.

  2. Protect Vulnerable Communities – Alawites and other minorities must receive urgent security guarantees.

  3. Hold HTS Leaders Accountable for War Crimes – Evidence of their incitement and massacres must be collected for prosecution.

  4. Counter Extremist Propaganda – Governments and media platforms must work to shut down HTS’s recruitment and hate speech.
