Ahmad al-Sharaa’s Controversial Statement and the Truth Behind the Massacres

Ahmad al-Sharaa recently declared that he will cleanse Syria of the remnants of the former regime and promised to hold accountable the perpetrators of individual crimes. However, he also stressed that the perpetrators of the massacres against civilians do not belong to the General Security or the Ministry of Defense.

Despite his statements, overwhelming evidence contradicts this claim. Video footage has surfaced proving that members of the Ministry of Defense and General Security were directly involved in the massacres against civilians. These videos reveal uniformed officers, identifiable by their insignia, carrying out brutal executions, burning homes, and engaging in systematic violence against non-combatants. The documented evidence refutes al-Sharaa’s attempts to shift blame and raises serious concerns about state-sponsored crimes and their cover-ups.
